alexander gilBorn in Zurich in 1997, Alexander Gil developed a close relationship with music at an early age under the guidance of renowned guitarist and pedagogue Daniel Erni. He received flamenco guitar lessons from maestros Claudio Mermoud, Vicente Cortés and Pepe Habichuela, and numerous classical guitar master classes from Leo Brouwer, Rafael Aguirre, Marco Tamayo, Carlo Marchione, David Martínez, Oscar Ghighlia and Eduardo Egüez. He studied with Anders Miolin at the Zurich University of the Arts, graduating with a Bachelor of Music in 2018 and obtaining a Master of Music Pedagogy in 2020. In 2023 he received his Master's degree in Guitar after studying with Joaquín Clerch at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf.
